各位理事和信徒们大家好,七月已经来临了，请大家做好准备和最后冲刺来将本殿来临的慶祝齊天大聖，五殿森羅王，大二三爺伯暨众神圣誕千秋办得香火旺盛。

Greetings to all members and devotees, seventh month has begun, let us be prepared and ready for our temple's upcoming festival celebrating monkey god,Dua Dee San Ya Pek and other gods festival celebration and make it a great success.

以下是本殿七月中元和圣誕千秋的活动时间表，请各理事们提早前来帮忙打理各事务，

Temple off on 7th and Opened on 9th August 2010

In lieu to the upcoming seventh month hell gate opening rituals on seventh month on 9th August 2010 night (Monday), we regret to inform that the temple will be off on 7th August 2010. (Saturday)

各位信徒们，本殿将在农历六月二十七日讯7th August 2010. (Saturday) ，休息和没有办公。农历六月二十九日讯9th August 2010 night (Monday) 七月陰门开。

All members and believers that haven’t collect your seventh month protection talisman please proceed to the upcoming temple.

所有理事和信徒们请前来领取七月保身符。

七月中元节和大二三爷伯千秋

Yun Yin Dian will be having our grand festival on the oncoming weeks from 1st ~ 5th September. Venue of the festival and dinner will be at the open field beside Bedok Reservoir Road directly opposite Autobay Kaki Bukit.

本殿雲陰殿将在今年农历七月二十三至二十七日讯1~5 September 2010 首次大力举办七月中元节和大二三爷伯千秋。地点位于勿落水池路旁的空地, 加基武吉 Autobay 的对面。

Preparations and organizing for the festival has begun since last year. Till date, festival dinner tables have exceeded 100 tables and with the support of getai and other interesting shows and traditions, it will definitely be an eye opener to all.

中元节和大二三爷伯千秋大日子的精心筹备已从去年开始展开，自今千秋酒席已超过一百多桌。在加上歌台和其他特别节目祝兴，这将让各位流连忘返。

As this is Yun Yin Dian’s first ever large festival, if there are any areas of mistakes, please accept our deepest humble apologies in advance.
Let us work hard and make the festival a successful and an enjoyable one.

这次将是本殿首次大力举办七月中元节和大二三爷伯千秋, 所以如有任何不足之处, 请多多包涵。

THIRD ZHONG YUAN AGM MEETING 第三任中元会理事大会

Notice to all members of the temple,

今年农历四月初十六日讯本殿将在本庙举行第三任中元会理事大会。(29th May 2010-Saturday after kor kun)

This lunar year sixteenth of fourth months (29th May 2010-Saturday after korkun), The Temple’s Zhong Yuan Committee is organizing the third Zhong Yuan AGM meeting this year at temple .

请个位理事们务必抽空时间来参与此大会，以更近一步了解今年七月中元大会的细节和安排。

We wish all committee and members to free your times for this compulsory meeting, in order to understand the status of the seventh month festival activities and preparations.

无法前来大会的理事们请提早通知其他理事们和通知他们无法前来的原因。

Lunar 8th - 1 - 2010 (21st Feb 2010) YYD Temple Inviting Tii Kong (Chia Tii Kong)

Event preparation begins at the late morning when temple members and devotees came and starts cleaning, tidying, change and replace offerings tea’s and white wines and Tua Dee Sa Ya Pek and 5 sides hell generals Go Ka Pii wine.
早晨仪式预备，理事门前来本殿打点一切。
A group is preparing all the necessary amount of joss papers and standard items for the inviting of the heavenly emperor (Tii Kong).
一批正在准备迎接天公的必需品 。
A group is wrapping up all offering fruits with flowered red papers and all sorts of offerings are also being decorated. Then came the sugar cane with its own distinctive flowered papers to be decorated.
另一批正在将所有拜祭的水果和物品贴上鲜红的花纸，甘蔗也挂上了独特的花纸。
Offerings getting prepared on table set up called “ Peng An Tok (Hokkien)” Peace table. With a clear distinctive embroidered table cloth for this particular Inviting of heavenly emperor event.
祭品一一的献上漂亮华丽的绣花布的平安桌来迎接天公
Afternoon time, relaxed before the times of the rituals in the evening.
下午时分，晚上仪式战前的休息。
Night time 8pm +, preparation’s begin by offerings to the earth gods to request of the usage of the temple space to invite all gods to arrive and prayed for the Tii Kong. A number of gods has descended
晚上八时左右，谢土后本殿准备迎接众神们敬茶和米酒，数位神明降世前来敬天公的礼仪。
(Names of gods are undisclosed as its too long to be explained literally right here). A picture speaks a thousand words but watching it live is a whole new experience.
诸位神明的称号就免提了，因为场面十在是太壮观了，我无法以字体来形容。
Monkey god came and perform the luck blessing rituals to any interested members, devotees and also of course publics as being the meaning of “救世万名“saving humanitarian’s .that’s what the temple are aiming to do.
齐天大圣降世敬天公以及帮助诸位理事和香客补运仪式，救世万名，诸位都是位位平等，无分上下也就是本殿所坚持的。
Lastly came Tua Ya Pek and Dee Ya Pek and after nearing the inviting heavenly emperor time
过后，九殿大爷伯和五殿二爷伯降世。 然后也将近请天公的时辰了。

Top leafy portion of the sugar canes are required to be separated, and its my turn to show my manly muscles to break it apart with 2 bare hands. Hehehe
甘蔗叶子部分必须折断然后共同所有拜祭的祭品和金纸火化。
Items are being invited down the traditional manner and are sent to the nearby open areas and all stacked neatly on a rented burning cage.
所有拜祭的祭品被请下一楼广场然后全排在预备好的火化笼里。
After rituals and prayings and offerings of tea’s and white wines by both Ah Pek and all devotees, all items are spread on the stacked joss papers and the burning begins.
爷伯们和理事们在平安桌前敬上了香，茶和米酒后，所有物品就开始火化拜敬天公。
As the burning goes, we are required to walk 1 round in circle around the burning offering joss papers and that completes the rituals of inviting of heavenly emperor.
在火化当中，我们跟随在爷伯们的带领下，绕了火丛一圈，然后就宣告敬天公仪式结束。
Facts 1 : Do You know that inviting of heavenly emperor rituals, you are supposed to wear long pants ?

Over the years of 2009,Temple devotees had tried our best to assist in the gods to save humanitarian , 2010 will definitely be another year we will not slack behind.

正所谓一年比一年好嘛，当然各位理事们也一样会做得一年比一年棒。

There’s a Chinese sayings, “this year better than the years before”, of course all temple assistants will also work harder this year than the year before.
